As noted, I'm reporting my first major crash in a very long time. Happened after I patched and played 1 map. I am not finding the old bug report method anywhere (long time since I've been on the forums), so I am posting here.

I have a full Omicron.log if anyone at PGI takes interest:

Here is a snippit of the last errors logged in Omicron.log...

============================ Loading level mechlab ============================
Initializing default materials...
[Error] Error: CTexMan::ImagePreprocessing: Scaling of 'textures/particles/weapons/laser_beam_1x4_lop0.dds' compressed texture is dangerous (only single mip) [File=textures/particles/weapons/laser_beam_1x4_lop0.dds]
[Error] Error: CTexMan::ImagePreprocessing: Scaling of 'textures/particles/weapons/ppc_beam_b.dds' compressed texture is dangerous (only single mip) [File=textures/particles/weapons/ppc_beam_b.dds]

Ok, NM on the picture for the moment, I forgot you can't upload to this site, But it's a Windows Dialogue box.
The header is:

CryEngine Error
The Critial Error stop is" ***Memory allocation for (2.6gb) bytes failed ***

Same as last message is Omicron log

Pepto :)

Have you also submitted a bug ticket? You are probably more likely to get feedback from PGI about what files they would like to see by doing that.

Good luck on resolution.

Maybe it's just me, but I have not logged onto the forum in quite some time. I am not finding the submision page for bugs anymore. Do they have a bug reporting mechanism anymore, or do we simply just send PGI an email via "contact us"...?

Pepto :D
