Something i find interesting looking at the stats is that the maps that i cant stand playing (River city night and tourma-walk for an hour to get to E5-aline are the ones where i have the best W/L ratio.

The ones that i really like ie Frozen city i get the worst ratio.

I wonder how this is possible? Maybe i enjoy some maps so much i concentrate on having fun and not winning. Anyone find the same?

Forest colony is my only negative ratio. My W/L ratio is ~1.3 overall. Most maps being ~1.1 with statistical outliers like Forest Colony being ~0.70 and RC night being ~1.8.

The statistic that concerns me is the 99 times I've played Tourmaline and the next highest is Caustic with 61 and the rest of the maps being in the 30s.

I'm quite sick of Tourmaline, and I hope they adjust their weighting on the next map release.

My only negatives last I checked were Frozen city and its derivative... (though now that i check it again, FC:Night is in positive territory now)

I blame it on the lack of suitable vision for a great deal of the match on Frozen City: Regular and the inability of many pugs to compensate for not being able to see well...

of course someone will come along shortly and tell me im wrong about that...

you need to count the night and day types of each map together to get an accurate representation of how PGI views the drops....

I was just looking at these. My only negatives are on Frozen City and Frozen City Night.

Weird because it feels like they should be 50-50 from what remember.

Also, I have more matches by a large margin in Frozen City (with the exception of Tourmaline and Alpine). So out of the standard maps, the one I do worst in is the one I get the most. Wonder if the game is trying to give me more chances to balance it out or something?

My only real negative is like Frozen City... I dunno why.

What's really strange is that I do better in all the Night maps... go figure.

My best map is caustic. Strange... I hate that map.

I think there is some strong odd slant towards Toumaline and Alpine... for the purposes of feedback.

First thing that stands out to me is that the different map versions is irrelevant to my performance. I would have thought that heat management was my biggest weakness. I know I use a risky loadout/playing style and sometimes I really hurt myself by overheating. So Tourmaline at the bottom is not surprising ... but Caustic is my 3rd best, and River City significantly better than Frozen City, so maybe heat isn't such a huge factor for me after all.

Maybe I perform best on River City because so many other people hate it
