The other incongruities are simply vagaries of a random-number-generator. Until you approach an infinite number of games, the likelihood of truly equal distribution is very low.
ATM I have played about 500 games since they started keeping track of the mapstats. For me, the maps are each within about 20 games on each map, with Tourmaline and Frozen least (41,44), Alpine and Caustic the most (62,67). These differences are statistically insignificant.
Enjoy a truly random experience! Your map stats will even out as you play more.

No ... you didn't read ... random numbers are random.
random != equal distribution
random = equal chance of selection.
Yes, Tourmaline / Alpine have their weights skewed ... but I doubt they further skewed that with the patch regardless of your limited anecdotal *feelings* convey.

The smaller 8v8 maps have had a lot of testing by this point, and are about as good as they're going to get at this point.

No ... it's not "all we have" ... it might be all *you* have ... then you come out here and QQ about it ... then we tell you that your anecdotal feelings are not a proper sample.
But what's more important? we didn't say: Yea, seems that way to us as well.
Frankly, done a ton of 3-4 mans and 10+ 8 man drops and it seems pretty normal.
So yes ... Anecdotal evidence is Anecdotal.

Yes ... pretty sure I played it the night before last. That's my favorite Frozen City variant ... that one I would like to see more often.

What we dont need is people like you, mounting their high horse, lecturing about undisputed and obvious statistical facts, yet lack any sample data to back up what you *think* is going on and in turn telling me, that my perception is irellevant. You *think* they did not skew the weighting of Tourmaline more than before but you have no evidence whatsoever. You have even less than my simple map count.
