can anyone verify that this is not a throttling being done by isps, ala what rodgers used to do to WoW for our canadian friends.

nevermind, i just realized this would be easy to spot via the ingame ping.

Yep, it has been really bad for the last couple days. I think it actually is because your ping is bouncing around, normally mine stays between 25-35, but the past few days it is all over the place... The game is pretty much unplayable for me right now

I'm having this problem too. This game is totally ****** up now.

I was in a premade, and no one in my group was having the problem and apparently none of the enemy, but me, I'm screwed.

In my suspicious conspiracy prone mind, I'm thinking PGI is purposely ******* with us because we represent some sort of element they don't like.

That would imply they have the ability to do such a thing, and given the state of the bugs in the game, I highly doubt they could do it even if they wanted to.

Dollars to donuts, you're extremely wrong.

I bet you they could.

just tested it again.

everything seems to work fine at the start and the desync seems to get progressively worse as the match continues.

Most defintely not a lag issue, its a sync issue: a server side problem.

i guess my point is that they could but they wouldnt be able to do it right as their attempt would be so bug ridden it would be prone to failure.

regarding the desync, it seems to begin the moment other mechs show up on your screen... if you start in the front of the pack the non desynced time lasts until you see another mech.

Next patch day lol, don't expect it to be fixed either, as with every bug in this game atm. I am unable to play also, as of about 1.5 hours ago with this de syncing bs. I'm pissed, just gave them some money too.

They make medication for that.

This sounds like nothing more than an issue with the servers?

I'm having the same issue. Dropped twice with a group and they watched me stand at the original base through the whole match. I saw myself moving, shooting, etc, with nothing actually happening.

You mean, it could result in hundreds, maybe thousands of players being unable to play their game...

Huh, welp, glad that's not happening...

i noticed the inconsistent delay while zooming as well. why that would have anything to do with ping escapes me. but it was introduced in this most recent patch.

No.

Mine is consistent.

To be very clear:

It is absolutely not a local user-side network issue. It's not. It's not P2P software, it's not ping jitter, it's not bandwidth, it's not throttling.
