I just feel like I'm playing another FPS. The maps don't lend themselves to making one feel like one is in a 4-story tall robot.

We need visual queues for perspective, familiar objects, not alien mountains and bases the same size as us.

We need cars, houses, tree, skyscrapers. We need to be able to step on cars. We need to be able to fight around skyscrapers. We need things on the maps that make us feel BIG. We need to see familiar objects. Highways with toll booths. Lamp posts. Wee little park benches beneath us,etc.

No, sounds like I'll have to. I guess I'm just dissapointed with the overall gfx - I just tried Tribes Ascend, a f2p game, and the textures/bump maps/poly counts/environmental effects etc are gorgeous. Maybe if they just enhanced the graphics in MWO that would make the difference.

Would be nice if there were civilians you could stomp, or watch the flee as you approach.

Or the cars and trucks actually explode when you step on them.
