so what this thread boils down to is nerf poptarts, not nerf ppc.
i guessed as much.
nobody in their right mind would complain about PPC if they had used before they could disable ECM.
so what are you saying is what changed? HSR?
lol. so now the same weapon that was not registering is hitting you and you whine? that's rich.
maybe poptarts need a bit of a modification but PPC is ok, AWS was awful before like that guy said above,
you think PPC is a problem? show how a no-JJ mech is a problem first.
The topic of poptarts was a tangent, related, but not a foundation of the OP's frustration.
Where did the OP mention HSR? Because you were quick to attack.

Ok, maybe someone of you coul explain me who an Atlas fits in your Mechwarrior Online Universe. They are big, they are slow, and you cannot shot when you are in cover!
You cannot sneak behind 5 jumpsniper Highlanders, this is ridiculous. I want you to play an close combat Atlas, in a PUG game. make a video, and proof me, that you are able to kill these guy.
This is my issue. Not just the jumpsnipers, but a team packed with snipers in general. You are often wounded so hard on the approach, their heat builds are rarely an encumbrance.
ERPPCs have no minimum, and while you can't fire fast, you can easily hit someone with them at point blank, even if they are encircling you.
PPCs have a minimum, yes, but if there are enough enemies with many of them, chances are they all wont be in a tight 90m area together and can defend their buddy at a very close range, leading to super quick death.
The lack of variety is forcing this weapon to occupy nearly everyone's energy mechs. It's literally needed. I wouldn't mind up to 4 PPCs, if missiles had any value over the same tonnage in PPCs. Same with the AC2-10 and LB-10X. Too low of a "tonnage:dps:heat" ratio.
