Today, on a conquest match on Snow Colony, I saw our two lights head towards the tunnel. Then I saw a couple heavier mechs head in the tunnel direction. I asked my team how many should go, but received no response. I decided to join them, rather than be one of the two left behind. I informed the pilot getting left behind that I was going tunnel.

At this point, I was told "Shut up, fatty. You're too slow to catch up now."

I still continued. As my D-DC was too slow to take the full tunnel, I used the exit near the drop ship. From there, I saw two enemies taking pot shots at my teammates. I shot them to get them to stop shooting.

I caught up with the rest of my team. We ended up killing all of them, only losing 2 ourselves. I was able to do over 700 damage.

If I had stayed behind, I would've been killed with the Treb that had been left behind. 3 enemy Assaults (and a fourth "other") had topped the drop ship while I was in the tunnel. I wouldn't have done anywhere close to 700 damage.

So, please, if a teammate is asking for clarification of something that the teammate doesn't usually see, either

A: don't say anything.
B: say "Yes" if the question is correct.
C: correct the pilot.

The person asking the question is just trying to contribute as best as possible.

Maybe that's it too. I had the impression TS was only for those in Merc Groups/Factions, and only for 4v4 play. I guess not.

This post has a very basic intro. I'll try it out.
