correct me if im wrong but arent machine guns designed and used in the BT universe for anti personell?

and didnt pgi say they wouldnt be bringing in elementals/power armor/ troops?

so then why do machine guns even exist in this game?

they are a complete waste of tonnage along with ams, bap and narc

does anybody know why they are in game?
