I've been wanting to post this ever since HSR was implemented for lasers but thought I'd wait and see how it improved. After having played tons of games with lasers, specifically in lights, it's obvious that they still need work. Light mechs are still shrugging off a ton of damage, especially Spiders and Commandos. Even when circling at slight angles, I've dumped 25 med lasers alphas into the back and either back left or back right torsos, which combined make a total of 20 points of armor at most (most of the time) Only to see both parts of the armor stay yellow to light orange. The Raven does this to quite an extent and the only reason we don't see it on the Jenner more is because its CT is huge. I've also noticed this issue when mechs are falling down after jump jetting. I could track my crosshair right over a Jenner as it falls and do almost no damage. There's still a significant amount of desync between where the mech being seen and where it actually is according to the server.
Are there any plans to improve this?
