Small Pulse Lasers do run hot, yeah.
But it is really manageble, at some point just chain fire instead of alphaing all the time

and btw: if you want to you CAN put ferro on the F, drop like 3 points of armor from the legs and add another heatsink.
I bet i actually do exactly that....

In fact, if you compare 6 ML and 6 SPL the SPL version produces less heat but only slighly less damage.
