I noticed that when you shoot several high-heat weapons (PPCs) simultaneously. Your heat-level jumps to a certain value and an instant later it drops about 5%.
I don't know if this is only the case on the Highlander, but I noticed it there especially.

Have you also submitted a support ticket with the video attached? PGI tends to see those before they see the forum posts given the volume of posts.
