I'm no music elitist, but I can get snobby about what I think is good. Some of my favorite artists never make it big, others are pop culture gold. Then again, I listen to most music types and can find good representations of the genre wherever I look.

Im pretty much the exact same way Kjudoon. I can appreciate everything from bluegrass to pop, classical to metal, old standards and yes, even some show tunes.
like I said, "if its good, its good right?" ... if a song does something for you it shouldnt matter what genre it comes from.
