Gotta say, still fighting against the K2... just doesn't feel right. Which is weird, because I was an old MW2 Catapult fan, but... there you have it

I rather like the 7M, even if I've shelved it mostly until the SRMs get rebuffed.
The main thing is I don't use the jets on it to poptart, but rather, to "glide." I'll admit I've been having discussions with pilots who still feel the Centurion is the best bet (most of them), but using jets to literally strafe offers such a huge maneuvering advantage it's really awesome.
Basically don't jump over 60m or so in the air and then feather your jets. It's the most fun thing about JJs in MW:O. It's likely to give you new appreciation for the 7M as a brawler.

I'll be trying the gliding out... on my new 733P during the tourney. But, I fear, it has the same sadistic streak as my 7M, and worse, is team-cursed so far. I have noted that if you run it with only 2 JJs you don't take leg damage on the dropdown, so that's forgiving at least.

I've reconfigured DRG-Fang ten thousand times. Can't get the ***** magnet off the CT. (W/L Ratio is 1.2)
One thing you can do with the Dragon chassis (or any large CT hitbox) that is a little counter-intuitive is to strip most rear CT armor and move it up to the front. This makes light mechs a little more deadly, as you may only have 6-11 armor on the rear CT, but increases survivability of the mech significantly. In the current meta with all assault, it can be a game-changer.

Does anyone else have that one 'mech that they bought that didn't live up to expectations? That one robot that no matter what you try, you can't seem to unlock its secrets?
You switch builds and change your piloting style, only to die in different, more humiliating ways. Then you get all the Elite efficiencies unlocked. "Now..." you say to yourself, "Now, things are going to be different." They're not. They're the exact same, but with less legs and more fire.
Spider 5K, what must I do to unlock your God-like potential?
What 'mech don't you get along with? Anything that you just can't seem to push over a 1.0KDR no matter how hard you try (I'm no KDR *****, but not being able to break 1.0 to me means it's not worth taking)?

Spider. Useless waste of space that thing was, sold it almost immediately. I was a Jenner pilot at the time and there was (and still is) nothing the spider has that makes it worth using. I'd even say ecm isn't enough of a boost. Spider just has no hitting power at all, though with streaks in the toilet their maneuverability *might* be worth a little right now. Once missiles get fixed though itll be back to being pretty awful, since streaks don't need to be aimed.
The game just does not support the role the spider was designed for.

I want to jump snipe with you, I want to srm things to death with you, but, but... *bad* things happen when we're together.
Still own no mechs with a negative K/D, but you... you were the one that scared me. Kinda like the hot girl with a sadistic streak that you couldn't ignore.

yes- the one most other folk seem to like best. for me it was unholy hell to grind up to elite. MLs,LLs, SRMs,LRMs,SSRMs, ERPPCs, no JJs, max JJs- no matter what i did it refused to do well for me. yet it's much more punily firepowered sibling the 7k has about triple the k/d ratio. i think my 7M is under .4 right now almost single handedly dragging my post stats K/d to under 1.0.
any stalkers aren;t very kind to me either. everyonce in a while i'll get a 3 or 4 kill match. rest of the time die quickly with less damage than my mediums.
founders Hunchy is a death machine- for me- enemies do the wave when they see me piloting it.
