Many people have now started playing the game in low graphics mode because enemy mechs can now be seen all the way across the map through buildings and some hills. This is especially true on River City. People will stop playing the game with all the great graphic details turned on since running in Low Res is allowing them to see if enemies are going upper or lower city.

Please make sure that if they can't see the buildings/hills in the distance then they can't see the mechs that are behind those buildings/hills. Pop tarts and other PPC builds (which is everyone these days) are all sniping long distance again right at the beginning of the map because of this bug.

I took a quick look to see if this bug was logged in this patch but didn't see it. Somebody must have mentioned it somewhere. Don't make this a low priority bug! People won't play the game with the graphics on as it was intended to be played. The graphics are great, make users want to turn them on.

Love the game, keep up the good work.

I had several cases where I come around a building (no other enemies in sight) and i get cored from an AC/20 jager. Or I'm the last one for instance in another game,
And same thing happens to me but with a gauss jager. This isn’t even hyperbole. I literally die the moment I come around the corner and my stop/running patterns aren’t exactly easy to predict I do a lot of stopping and peeking. running stopping and peeking. The only way for that to happen is to have the shot already lined up, and that can’t be done unless 1) You see through buildings or 2) have someone spoting for you that has LOS of your target.
Now that I know how it's happening I'm going to play a little differently to see how true this is. I do remembera bug a while ago that makes mountains and buildings, and basically everything else except for the terrain, go transparent. I actually thought this was pretty cool. “People are complaining about this? I can see where everyone is! This is awesome!” and then I alpha strike a mountain because I didn't see it, then i thought “Oh well I guess that’s why they don’t think it’s great..”

But now, I can see pretty good reason why you would want to make buildings transparent now. After being a victim to it twice last night, I’m beginning to feel a little cheated.

I play low because of my lousy computer and experience this in river city. Other maps are not influenced and this happens somewhere beyond 700 meters. I have wasted some ac rounds for those unseen buildings and I think it more as annoying. But sure some may misuse it and should be fixed.

It wasn't logged in this patch because it has been going on since January. I have made a few threads about it, and there are always rumblings that they will fix it, but it never gets fixed.
