We have WoT (world of tanks) with similar game modes except for some:
we do not have a King of the Hill mode (KotHm) and storm-defend modes.
Just imagine, if these mode existed, then it is always clear where to go to meet the enemies.
Each of these game modes allow you to assume or even to be sure that:
- you will ENGAGE THE ENEMY.
No more light mechs messing eachother around somewhere 5-10 minutes from you and suddenly fight is over.
No more 20 minutes march across the map when you reach the enemy base and suddenly noone there (and game is over again).
A good fight is all about new modes, cause present modes might as well add a some sort of achieve "victory without victums".
