Could someone (PGI would be my first choice but I know that's not gonna happen) please repost the announcement about the announcement and the announcement about the delay of the announcement that were posted on twitter today. I'd like to be at least as poorly informed as everyone else.

"PGI are happy to announce the winners of the Assault vs. The World competition. On an unrelated note, LRMs now automatically track jump jet exhaust at a bonus speed and damage proportional to the jet's class rating. Obtaining missile lock is optional."

- Streak Missiles and Long-Range-Missiles can no longer be fired while under the effects of ECM, even if that ECM is your own.
- Vertical Jump Jet Thrust has been reduced 40% for 'mechs heavier than 50 tons.
- When a 'mech is in midair, there is a small amount of targeting cursor shake proportional to the 'mech's tonnage.
- Speed cap has been removed for all 'mechs.
- Long-Range-Missile flight speed has been increased by 20%. Damage is unaffected by this change.
- Short-Range-Missile damage has been increased by 5%, and missile grouping has been tightened by 5%.
- Firing multiple weapons of the same type now generates exponentially more heat than before. Weapon heat increased by 10% for each additional weapon of that type fired in an "alpha" strike.
- Weapon Accuracy is now negatively impacted by firing multiple weapons of the same type. Convergence speed is delayed by 2% for each weapon fired of the same type.
- 'Mechs are now damaged by overheating. For every two seconds a 'mech spends overheated, it takes 5 damage to internals.
