I was thinking of a way to help improve SRM/LRMs, and the thought occurred to me:

What if Artemis IV allowed you to perform a lock on that improves accuracy, but does it slower than the SSRM lock on timer, and does not sacrifice the current way Artemis + SRMs/LRMs works?

That is, if you fired without a lock on, SRMs and LRMs would behave exactly as they do now, but if you did lock on, your missile accuracy would be improved - since the FCS would be able to gather more data to make a better prediction about the target, and calculate a more flight path for the missiles.

Thoughts?
