How exactly does the convergence speed works? I remember the devs talking about it during closed beta when this issue was hot. At that time we were seeing ML n SL boating haha. I was thinking about slowing that (convergence speed) down and then it would become like from the books, where it is described the targeting computer takes a second or so to compute range and lead for a target mech

This thread is full of fail. YOu assume that PGI is putting enough resources to make these changes.... look around... aint happening.

I like the general concept the OP provided, but I wouldn't place the torso weapons so far out from center. Even if they were close to the plus the natural placements of these weapons would encourage better spread damage. Also only mechs with lower arm actuators should get perfect center mass shooting.
