1: I like bears. I know it's a stupid reason, but it's true. Ghosts are also cool.

2: Whether Warder or Crusader, Ghostbears aren't stupid about it, they are moderate, but also zealous.

3: My new favorite Clan, CloudCobra, is not an invader, but one of their chief allies is Ghostbear.

4: Ghostbear wins. Okay, so they don't always win, but even when they lose, they don't lose big and can manage to claim victory.

1. They do not play games with different caste systems. All Clan members are dedicated to each other.
2. They Absorbed and saved the FRR.
3. They are family, not as much as the Blood Spirits (RIP), but still substantial.
4. They chose to integrate the FRR military into their own Touman.
5. They chose to have a freeborn "Prince" as a demi-ruler.
6. They do not get caught up in alot of the BS the other Clans do. (I.E. Star Adders, Ice Hellions, Jade Falcons, Fire Mandrill, Steel Viper)

I joined BT universe as many others (refering to posts read in different threads) with MW2 GhostBear Legacy, then nearly parallel a friend introduced me in TT and i had a short but hot phase in local TT-"league" (I admit , that so-called league were about a dozen of players who met every 2 weeks to battle out some hours just having fun)

I immediately crushed on that Kodiak , not so much on that Stone Rhino, but i loved to walk around with them ...

I'm waiting for the day clans get involved in MWO , but I will first have a look at the kind of introduction , gameplay , balances etc.

still have a lot of work to improve my piloting , and i hope PGI/IGP will keep this going on...

I'm on vacation now for 3 weeks , I will have no cellphone , no laptop , no communication... so I don't wanna come back just to see all this going down even before official launch (whether they can keep that date or not -_- )

I always liked the clans, and clan Ghost Bear was one of my top 3 favorite clans, below clan Star Adder. I personally like Clan Ghost Bear's philosophy in everything they do. I can't wait until June when I can fight with my brothers to bring glory to the clan.

Why wait until Clan chassis? Brother, we have a good enough time honing our skills in this second line machines. We are just waiting for a shipment to arrive from the home worlds. It is the way of the Clans to use what is available to them, quiaff?

A link to our dens is in my sig, feel free to join your trothkin for some drops.

Why do I like Clan Ghost Bear? We are a family, the only followers of Kerensky who still use this term. It is our brothers and sisters comradarie that makes us the strongest and most stable of the Clans. Our new family of Rasalhauge had less time adapting to the true way of Kerensky because not a lot changed for them, that which did (health care, agriculture, water purification), the fact many of our freeborns still remain in family units, meant little change to them.

Why I like Clan Ghost Bear:
  • Kodiak, the best totem mech ever made.
  • Mechwarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy
  • They have Executioners for the Ghost Bear Recon Party.
  • Unlike the other clans who didn't care about the inhabitant they captured, the Ghost Bears mindset was, "Hey, if you work with us then we will work with you." Basically the relationship was, you scratch my back I scratch yours. You can see how well that turned out.
  • They were a Crusader Clan, but they turned Warden after seeing how crazy the Crusader Clans were by bringing the Warden Clans to fight the Inner Sphere. The Bears led the other Warden Clans away from the Great Refusal. What they were telling the Crusaders by doing that was, "You fight your own battles. You wanted a war, now you got it. Do not drag other people into this fight to save your own hide!"
  • They have a concept of family, which most Clan hate.
  • They have a cool name for their Occupation Zone, the Ghost Bear Dominion.
  • They are nicest clan you will ever meet compared to other clans.

and they probably have really good beer.

If they do not, they will probably have it once they have conquered enough world in the FRR! :)

Why I like CGB? Because of all the bear jokes they have in their forums.

That is a bear faced lie. I challenge you to a trial of Grievance through a game of football (the real one where you use your feet and the ball is actually a ball :) ) followed by a trial of beer (none of this yellow water named Budweiser or similar... real beer has taste and soul).

Edit: If no one can find a ball I guess we could resort to kicking around a Locust.

*Scandinavian origin and kinsmen in the Free Raselhague Republic. Just like me.

*Cautious

*They are more pragmatic and respectful than the other clans.

*Crusaders. They do live up to this even post invasion since they effectively conquered a segment of the Inner Sphere and subjugated it to their rule.
