I can't tell if this Mech is a good idea, but I do know that the thought of quad mini-gun barrels on my arms is pretty hilariously awesome.

It is indeed fun. I run mine THIS WAY however.
If you're going to run this, you need to go all out. This is an exercise in sheer, horrifying firepower, not in usability. Or survivability. Or longevity. Or mobility. Probably lots of other itys.
It's one of my favourite mechs. If you wish, you can drop a tonne of the ammo from that and toss in a medium laser, but that detracts from the overall experience methinks. You're the candle that burns at both ends! The extreme glass cannon!
Playstyle; tag behind something that is a better target than you. Shoot at stationary mechs or slow movers only. The weight targetting rules are reversed here; Assault first, then heavy, then medium, then lights. As far as clicking goes, you need to totally entrust your fate to the deity of random numbers, my fickle friend Ranblor. Set 2 fire groups to your left and right arm, then click your mouse buttons like you are trying to set a record. If Ranblor is in a giving mood, you will receive an Atlas shredding torrent of firepower, If he thinks you are being a floral wearing pansy, he will smite the ever loving crap out of your guns.

Or drop one UAC5, add 9 tons of ammo, put the 3 in chainfire, dakka away. Non-stop 5 pt slugs.
