Too true. I learned quickly to nearly max the armor on the legs. They soak up a lot of hits. This can be a good thing though - I've had a quick-draw at 23% 'life' before dying. That's getting your money's worth!

Well, it has to have some drawback. I wish I could read more about its stats and hardpoints, but no one has updated the wiki, and even if I had an empty mech bay so I could take a look myself, I can't update the wiki. I don't know my login, and there is no retreival option.

I don't understand why so many people seem to think that lighter should mean shorter and heavier should mean taller.
That's not how mass works...
Agreed, although the basic profile is very similar to a Catapult, in width, depth, height ratio, and the Cat is bigger AND has 2 jumbo ears.

oh really?
these are taken and overlaid straight from Adridos' post in the spoiler below:
that picture shows that a 65 ton mech is roughly the same size as the 80 tonner. That is some good evidence against this game's scaling lol..
the stalker needs to be bigger. and the catapult needs to be a bit smaller
honestly looking at that picture, if the catapult stood a bit straighter, or the stalker a little bit crouched, they would look almost the same size.

Cool. Now overlay torso on torso. The Stalker has bigger legs, but that is about it. Overlay face to face and the Cat has a wider torso, and the huge ears. I am trying to figure out how to modify opacity to demonstrate without totally masking the other mech like in your example, but am not figuring that gimp feature out just yet.
Regardless, the Stalker has slightly larger legs, and a little bit of a butt. The Catapult appears to match or exceed it in all other dimensions, despite being 20% lighter.

Don't get me wrong, its kind of like the dragon people who really like it are going to either get damn good with it or learn to hang with the pack. The 4G's +33% arm movement speed is pretty nuts iv got a pair of ER ppcs on mine and can quickly target and shoot the fastest of mechs making it a nightmare for lights and putting ppcs on the arms make the quickdraw look like megatron
The 4H has enough missile slots to almost be a respectable LRM mech, or can mount 3ssrms till those are nerfed for a good light hunter setup.
5K using more energy slots this ones pretty balanced with its hardpoints spread across the mech evenly this one looks to be the most durable in terms of difficulty to be disarmed with. (And instantly lends itself to a potent 2xLL/4xML build)
