I can break 1000 on the rare occasion that I take out my laser wielding Atlas RS but I mostly pilot a Commando.

I try to remember to make a screenshot for interesting matches, going back over the last month or so it seems the most damage I did in a Commando was 969. I remember this match was mostly played out around epsilon (center of Alpine). They had no lights so I was harassing them the whole way, taking out a Cataphract when his buddies lost their nerve and retreated. The match ended with the Atlas/Commando tag team taking on 3 heavy/assault mechs and winning with ease.

Of course without an Atlas to help out I can still deal out some damage

oh what the hell, e-peen time. Highest damage doesn't mean nothing unless you can repetitively do it.

Well you don't have a very good internet connection do you

LOL highest damage in the game and also the slowest internet

I would like to point out what overs have said, doing a lot of dmg in a match can often times be a bad thing

I once dealt 1620dmg in my quad LRM 15 STK-3F before the nerf, and 720 on it with 6LL.

this is the highest i can prove. (2 ppc 3 medium laser 5 streak 2 stalker) i was the first one on my team to die.

highest i have ever had was 2387 in an atlas DDC with 2 ultra 5s with 6 tons of ammunition, and 3 srm 6s with 7 tons of ammunition. (2500 possible damage as i had no energy weapons)

8 atlases a side... so much fatlas... (next highest person on my team did under 150 damage)

we lost that match too... it was my out of ammo atlas vs an atlas with 1 functioning medium laser in its center torso...

well before. otherwise it would not be possible. (simply not enough ammunition for that much damage.)

I'd like to point out that this was not with a Splatcat, a Stalker, an Atlas, or any sort of "Cheese" build. Also, the enemy team had only 2 Atlases and the game only lasted 7 minutes.

Without using LRMs or SRMs (pre-nerf) the highest I can recall is 959.

Me and my boy BlueWaffle tearing it up, and for the record we had a DC and one guy who went AFK near the beginning of the match.

P.S. I agree with what others have said, too much damage isn't good either. You should have a kill for every 200 damage you do, roughly.

imo the damage you do per kill kinda depends on your role, brawlers go for kills, fire support go for damaging people so brawlers can finish them off, i rarely get kills but tend to do decent damage

I forgot to save a cap of it, but in a 4 LRM15 + Tag Jager, pre LRM fix, I got 1378. It was pretty cool sending an alpha and watching an enemy mech lose all it's armor everywhere

BTW, any timeline on a missile buff? I know it was bugged to hell, but sheesh. 4 LRM5 only do 14 damage. I never get LRM kills before they are stolen, and rarely get above 250 damage with an LRM boat. Might as well take my laserboat or ac40 with the balance issues right now.

lol now im tempted to put an xl in my 2x, haha i bet that was a fun round, super close, kinda funny seeing an atlas as the last alive, not to mention doing only 380 dmg in that round....

Broke 1200 with a CN9-AL once(prolly once in a lifetime for me) and I don't remember if it was before open beta or not, it's been a while, Screenshot was black screen though. I have since acquired FRAPS.
