So, I've seen alot of discussion about joysticks... balance, tons of stuff... but one thing I rarely hear talked about, is Force Feedback support.
I own a myriad of joysticks, from the humble Logitech 3d pro to a Saitek X45 flight control system. But in my waiting for Mechwarrior Online, I've taken to playing Mechwarrior 3, and for the occasion, I broke out my Logitech Force 3d Pro.
Now I've used this stick for Mechwarrior 4, and I disabled the force feedback in that game because well, frankly, they did a horrible job coding the force feedback. Weapons fired rarely impact force on the stick. When my mech is damaged, I don't really feel it... instead, all I feel is the 'left right' jerk of my mech as it walks... which is annoying to beat all.
But in Mechwarrior 3, the Force Feedback feels, well, natural. there's a rather light 'forward backward' pull on the stick with each mech's gait, each mech feels slightly different. my weapons have far more impact when I pull the trigger [so far as the feedback sensation goes] I quite literally feel like I'm controlling a massive Thor or Madcat in that game. Compaired to Mechwarrior 4, which feels like I have a... well, whatever it is it's not a mech.
So, to those Force Feedback lovers out there... what would YOU like to see in Mechwarrior Online for force feedback?
Personally, if they even come close to the feeling of Mechwarrior 3, I'll be happy.

Something I haven't seen talked about yet... Force Feedback!

it would seem force feedback is in the game... good to know, if the Razer controller is any indication... let us hope this controller actually makes it out!

Yeah but how much is thing going to cost
I think ill be sticking with my idea of buying a Logitech g940
*Unless this new Razor controller blows my mind and doesn't wanna eat my wallet!
But seeing as they are selling mice at £114.99 I some how don't think it will be a decent price.
