Alert Flashing But Nothing There

for the last week or so I have been finding that the 3 head area where alters and friend requests has been consistently flashing yet nothing has been there, including right after I log in; has anyone else run across this odd bug?

if you have pending friend requests, it will flash, even when there are no new ones.
