It's sounds crazy idea... but could it be that pirates united and started raiding planets? I don't think it's invation, cause it's fairytale... but just massive raid?

EDIT - LOL, I forget not everone shares my love of English vocabulary. An interdiction in C*s case is stopping the HPG service because they're pissed. off. Little different than dropping a nuke or an asteroid on someone (which was WOB, not C* proper).

Can't wait for the surrender of one of the FCC planets to one particular individual (take a stab who it is). Can't wait for the time frame of when the IS leaders are training in Outreach. Can't wait for Turtle Bay. Can't wait for Wolcott. Oh yea...can't wait for Luthien.

All in all, can't wait for these iconic moments in the series' lore. And I cannot wait for when I'm bashing Clanners while rockin ACDC's "Shoot to Thrill" in my Highlander or Jagermech

So is this just a little break down of the HPG system that is hundreds of years old now or is something up. Like the pirates all joining up to teach the houses a lesson,. I am thinking there will be many Mercenary contracts being offered here shortly.

I've been charting this on the map too, and if it's some kind of virus or something it's not spreading the way I would figure. I would imagine if it were a virus it would be spreading through the C* network planet to planet, using the lines of communication, not moving along the periphery of the Inner Sphere. As far as solar flares, that's ridiculous because it's affecting multiple systems, not just planets around one sun.

I don't know about pulsars, but everything breaks down eventually. you don't need to be an Astech struggling to keep Humaniod weapons of mass destruction up and running to know that. How freaking old is the HPG network? At least several centuries right? when was the last time parts for these devices was made? Hell when was the last time someone who actually knew how these things freaking work touched one? I hope to hell Comstar has a backup of some kind ready to go live 'cause the warranty on their network has just run out...
