I think you need a poll to ask whether anyone thinks the incredibly P2W WOT should be a model for ANYTHING in MWO.
lol know someone was going to say P2W like coolant flush is not. yes they have a opson of getting the same via exp. As garth said the avg play is 10 games a day per player. the amount of time need to get 25k GXP is (if each game= 500 xp x 10 x 5%= 250gxp}So it would take 100days or about 3 month. So while you are grinding money bags spends Mc and alpha you till your grind is complete, Sound like P2w to me.

There's a big difference between a company doing right by their customers and placating an attempt at fleecing under the guise of good customer service.
My bigger issue with the OP is the pretense that because WOT made this grand gesture, that PGI is somehow negligent in properly fluffing our pillows.
300 MC is a drop in the bucket individually but when you take the entire playing community into account it's a bit more impractical....
Add to that the fact that, as many members here like to remind us, WOT is a well ensconced game with a huge, rabid core membership (and have reaped the benefit of doing so) thus their pockets are a little more flexible with flippant spending.
Hmm. We have less people and it cost nothing to hit a few Key to add good will. Goodwill normally = more people = more money
I have 4 service call tomorrow 2 are good will calls that the customer need something that will take me {or my people} 5 min to look over. That customer will in turn tell other about me because my business came over and glad-handed them. I have a computer consulting business and do idy programming for other games. Giving away something that cost you nothing is standard good business practice. In the long run that freebee will pay you 2x at a minimum.
