Well, i do read about the Improvements in Match Making and how fair the Matches now should be. There should only be max 10 Tons Difference etc, etc, etc....

Now lets be honest and check the Facts:
Theres rarely a Game without Disconnects or People away from Keyboard. Most the Times its now 2-3 per Game that are missing on the Field. THATS what makes the Matches unfair, not the System of Match Making.

Ist not 10 Tons Difference. Its often enough 200-300 Tons Difference.

I agree, just one missing assault can spell doom for your team if both sides are equally skilled.

So, what can devs do about afkers? They can (or may?) find bugs in game code and fix it, but that's all they can do. Yet I agree, that crashes every time are not cool

I been in games were me or one of my friends are disconnected and are unable to get back in the game. I would love a reconnecting feature to be added.

Allow 20 seconds to pass. If the mech doesnt move or do anything, then autokick for afk.

Maybe have a 'standy' player who can drop in straight away, but only up until about 30-40 seconds of game time, then the window 'shuts'. The dropped in player should have the reactor online bollocks cut out, so they can catch up and play straight away.

It really isnt hard, but devs seem to be more worried about making pink mechs they can sell to noobs for over inflated $$$.

Btw, AFK is a bit of a misnomer. There is a bug right now where the game will suddenly close, with no error, and the game does not register a disconnect. I have personally seen this sevaral times when playing with my buddy.. my mech will just plow into walls, etc. Most AFK people are not really AFK ...

I felt terrible last night when I saddled up into my Atlas D-DC and got exactly two steps before the game crashed and booted me. I assume my Mech just walked forward until it hit a wall. I felt completely wretched when I logged back in and saddled up into my Atlas D and crashed as soon as my sensors came online.

I knew that in each of those games, 100 tons of Mech was just sitting there and unbalancing the match. Pretty much a guaranteed failure.

For the rest of the night I didn't field anything heavier than 65 tons. I didn't have a single other crash.

Honestly, I would prefer to rejoin the match in my Mech but am not given a choice. I've seen other games let you jump back in if you disconnect. You have a 'presence' in the game that you could be reconnected to.

I never thought anything would get me to stop playing this game. With EVERY GAME being altered by disconnects and HUD/minimap bugs, I consider the game unplayable in its current state.

Yup either swap in dc's for new players in the first minute of the game or let people reconnect. This wouldn't be new a lot of games have similar functions. Why bother working on a complicated elo system when most matches are 7 vs 8?
