Is it a good idea to separate torso convergence from arm-mounted weapons?

I generally see 4 camps. It's fine the way it is. It's a problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Introduce randomness. DON"T introduce randomness. Here's my idea, and a simple poll discussing it. Please feel free to add in.

I'm against adding randomness to aiming in the game. I don't mind making aiming more DIFFICULT though. I suggest:

1) Continue to allow center-reticle pinpoint convergence for arm-mounted weapons
2) Add a smalle reticle to the left and right of the main targeting reticle to represent the right and left torso respectively.

I think this would cut down on some of the current issues we see like distance high-alpha pinpoint damage. It would make builds that boat sniping weapons throughout their arms and torso fire in groups and AIM those different groups. It would make boat sniping more difficult without introducing randomness. It would make boat-brawling with pinpoint weapons slightly harder as well, but still allow for a giant alpha-strike that's relatively centered in a brawl. It's easier close up...that makes sense to me.

Thoughts?
