Wanted to make this thread to congratulate Koreanese. I had the best set of games I'm pretty sure I've ever played on Friday night, barring the odd outlier. My UAC5s never jammed when I needed them, the enemy overheated every time they would have finished me off, my lasers would crit components and I got a bunch of ammo explosion kills. Every now and then I'd rake my lasers across a guy who came round a corner and I'd get the kill, much to my amusement. I was basically on fire. And I never came close to even catching Koreanese.

I went to bed in second place on the first day, got up in third (Momba was beating me by a single point) and finished 6th, having stopped playing after a couple hours because I was a bit bored with the whole thing. By that time Koreanese was also top of the Medium boards and my housemate and I were discussing just how good he must be.

I see now that he also came top on Heavy and Medium yesterday and today, despite a bunch of other people getting really close. I see a number of topics accusing him of cheating but at the time it never occurred to me that could even be the case - I know from my own fairly high scores that it was entirely doable given a little energon, and a lot of luck. All he needed to do was keep playing until he had more than he imagined, and the scoring did the rest.

I know that he must have put in a lot of time and played the odds, but you don't win six leaderboards in three days without being damned good - he has the top score on every single day, too. So sincere congratulations, Koreanese. When you win this tournament, you will have deserved it.

nobody just has luck everytime its like lotto you can have 1 time the 1 in a million game but 30 times? knowing alot of internet cheaters and dealing with such and there bragging about hey my friend is legit pwnzors cuz he play so long with me and such **** even reading some of there defenses if they are corned by ac team and demos showing he wasnt legit he still stays with the fact hes totally legit and never cheatet because its the internet and you can get away with it
think about it why he didnt record his topwinning matches despite he makes youtube videos and you maybe realise

Other people have filmed some of his attempts, there was one in another thread. Those were 100% legit, extremely good games.

i got some pretty high scores matches too but just 1 lucky match
with 2 disconnects wich i didnt strip everything off and still made my over 200 points with
but this kind of game you can count on a hand in a month
and everytime i saw someone disconnecting later one i removed him fast from the game to stop such bs
when ever i could same to killstealing
and i myself was playing alot that friday saturday and observing alot of ******** wich
i should have made fraps videos from to show you what i mean and how
honest these players are
but 1 thing always prevailed in my long time of onlinegaming the dogs that bark the loudest when
you accuse them are the ones that were dishonest

No Ink, typically the ones who stand by their principles regardless of whats at stake or whos to blame for something are the ones who uphold the integrity of the game itself, without those players pushing back against the negative stuff like exploiting or cheating then the entire community would find that stuff to be acceptable and eventually cannibalize itself.

In other words, someone who stands by their words and acts upon their sense of ethics and show character in voicing their opinion LOUDLY that cheating is ALWAYS wrong... that player is the type you should seek to support in discussions rather than try and find some sort of angle to assume they were being dishonest. If you can't trust a guy who says what he means and does what he says, who can you believe. Dude in question specifically here has nothing to hide, anyways...

STRAIGHT UP, why don't alllll these ******* skeptical consipiracy nutters grow a pair, come join TS and say hi, then join a group with players you think are questionable and see how much they dominate with your own eyes and humble yourself.

******* humble yourself.

All I can think of is the scene in Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America" with his first bride-to-be.

-Bark like a dog.
+arf, arf, arf, arf, arf
-A big dog....

Dude you forget its the ******* interwebs not rl were somebody thinks twice before he pulls something on someone
in the interwebs anybody thinks its anonym and he can do whatever bs he wants to do
Its the part were ppl have different faces and not showing there true self and

lets name him for example why has he not made his top matches fraps and youtubed
it would be the epitome of skill, fairness, beeing pro and he would be soo good to play fair get these scores.
WHY NO UPLOAD? it makes no sense. if you work hard to get something why not show it off if you can
and he can for sure as he already showed by his ytube vids this is just an example

get over yourself Inkarnus. he's not cheating. while I only placed 15th on day 3, that day i did manage to get on koreaneese in one game and recycled his tin can in my cent bomb. I was the subsequently annihilated by his team for my brash behavior, but it was worth it.

GG Korean, you've beaten us all AND set the forums a flame.

+1 internets

You think he cheats, Ik? Then team up with him, drop together, watch yourself go down in an embarassing fireball, and then spectate while he just tears the enemy team apart.

Yes, he really is that good. I learned more about piloting lights from spectating him in the one match where chance dropped us together than I did from hours of "guides".

Logical analysis, considering the scrutiny he has been under for the last few days being accused of cheating for fear of getting caught (No cheater likes to get caught nor risks it when the spotlight is on them) it is more likely he would "stop cheating" to retain his position than continue to dominate the leaderboard in not one...but two weight classes. Koreanesse continuing to cheat at this point would be the equivalent of one person robbing the same store every day for a week. Eventually you get caught. So either he is one bold cheater and a numbskull for not seeing this, or he really is that good. I'm thinking the latter. Koreanesse sir... /salute you are outstanding and I agree with Onmyoudo.
