Concur, can't expect a turn, dice, overhead, multi unit game to work as well in a real time, skill, 1st person, single player game that needs to be fun whilst trying to give some thrill of battle realism to be commercially successful to simply be a one to one conversion.

I think PGI are trying to keep the precedents of Battletech traditions as best represented to MWO but I won't hold them to a complete translation.
