Not sure if these have been suggested before.

Suggestion 1:

TLDR: Player guided LRMs.

Wire guided missiles have been around for a while and I remember stories on the news back during the Iraq War about "gunners" piloting "smart" missiles in through the windows of moving enemy trucks and such. So why not create a secondary weapon fire mode that would allow the player to actively direct where the LRMs Fly.

My idea on how it would work is that after firing the player would hit a button and toggle into controlled flight mode. He cannot move his mech, fire its weapons or so while in this mode, but he could "fly" his LRMs into his target. If he over heats when firing his LRMs obviously he has to wait until his mech powers back on before he can go into this mode. they could make it so the Player needs BAP or needs to unlock and equip a module to allow him to do this. thoughts?

Suggestion 2:

TLDR: allow players to place and lock onto map markers.

I Call the second idea bombardment mode. A player can open his map and place a marker down that he and other players can target and lock onto with LRMs. LRMs fired at this marker fall within a 50 meter radius of the marker. Make the marker yellow or orange so that it does not get confused with an actual enemy. Unlike the consumables this does not require line of sight and the only delay is LRM lock and fly speed. Mechs standing in the 50 M radius should get a missiles incoming warning. Again this mode could require BAP or a module that the player unlocks and equips. Maybe both. Thoughts?
