so i got some hate yesterday for firing my lrms at 90 or so meters. i just wanted to see two things:
1) what they look like hitting a mech
2) if they do any physical damage or atleast knock the mech around
after this happened some dead player from the enemy team immediately all chats the following message or something like it
'grats on your teaming having a noob like you'
whats with the hate? i just wanted to see what it looked like. explaining that did nothing to make convince him otherwise. yes i am a noob but if you point out a mistake to a noob you dont do it LIKE THAT. i hope there arent that many people in mwo like that guy

Eeh, some of us (not accurately everyone) would go to hate mode mainly because we're leery, sore _____s for one reason or another.
Though honestly, I would have said if you really wanted to try what weapons do and not get the brunt of rants on the field to test them out, currently we have the Training Grounds for that.
LRMs just bounce off (their warheads don't arm, safety stuff and all) unless you have 180 meters of distance upon launching.
