I don't know where i need write it. But i think we need to do somethink with next. Sometimes it's happens when someone from your team say to enemy your location.
My suggestion.
Dead players can speak only with dead players. Not with alive. Or let's ban this players.

How would you go about stopping the team speakers?

I rat out our last man if its an assault that hid from the fight and is trying to base cap @ 50 kph.

If you are running away and powering down, I have no problem reporting your location, especially if you have not contributed to the fight. K/D ratio means nothing, and I would just as soon get another drop in as wait 5 minutes while you hide.

Which griefing? The one reporting the location or the one making 15 other players waste 5 minutes before they can play their mech?

When its an afk or some player just trying to drag out a losing game and waste everyones time by hiding I have no problem with it. Lot of players drag games out for spite wasting 16 peoples time. That is not acceptable. If your being a jerk expect someone to finish it. Fight, cap or get over yourself.

I'm on screenshot, i tried flanking and go to cap. But my ally said to enemy my location. It's not ok.

One is technically a form of griefing, one isn't. I'll let you figure out which is which.

I'm not saying I agree with either tactic, however, if your time is so important to you that 5 minutes is worth getting angry over, maybe it shouldn't be spent in a game.

cant really tell how the game went from that screenshot but from what it looks like you did nothing to help your team or work with them so i dont see a problem with them ratting you out for trying to hide. it might have gone differently but cant tell from teh screenshot, and this is team game, not a lonewolf game.

So you think your going fight off 4 enemy and hold a base cap for the win? Where did you flank, the far side of the moon? Please message me in game so I can be on your team. Players wait because you still get paid and get xp, not so if you dc.

If someone dead or alive in your lance is deliberately giving away your location to hostile forces, something needs to be done about it. My suggestion is to identify the callsign and take him or her out at the first opportunity. To put in in modern teen language, some would say that I am being harsh; but, to my way of thinking we are supposed to support each other.

Then you should be banned.

There is a reason that we have bases ingame, if you cant find the last enemy just go cap.

And therein lies the problem with any such nerfing of dead-people talking.

All it would do is further the divide between VOIP and non-VOIP players.

And I'm not sure "poor sportsmanship" is or should be a bannable offense, really.

It probably means you need to stop hiding and should have helped your team instead of cowering like a little girl attemoting to gather kill steals. I have never witnessed it being done to someone who was actively trying to cap or fight.

Since there is no repair cost, and nothing to lose, why are you running from the fight anyhow?

If you are last man standing with multiple enemy left and zero chance to win just concede the loss and stop wasting everyone's time. Look at op's screen shot, he will be destroyed, or capped, or both. Wasting six minutes on a lost cause doesn't help either team.
