I wouldn't mind a hero Spider, but I think it'd be hard pressed to beat the 5D. At least it would give people an option to not have to pilot the wretched 5V.

I'd love a hero Jenner, but the Spider needs it more.

The wretched 5K, you mean. The 5V was a walk in the park compared to the 5K - the 5V has twice as many energy hardpoints as the 5K!

I still hold out hope for a 6 MG Spider though - 6 ballistic slots, nothing else. It would finally hammer home to everyone how out of touch with their game the devs are on the subject of MG viability.

Since we have the Orion coming in shortly, wouldnt we see Aleksandr Kerensky's Orion? The Sarna.net article doesnt have anything about him running a custom variant but who wouldnt want a true hero's mech? For our friends in the DCMS, the same mech was piloted by Theodore Kurita...till it was destroyed.

Because my birthday is coming up in two weeks, it had better be Kerensky's Orion. If not, then I'm gonna spend that money on something else as a birthday present for myself. Probably hookers and booze, which means I'll have none left for virtual toys.

I'm willing to bet that any Mech we have a Founders Version of, will be among the last to get Hero Versions. Since basically that would be ******* in the cheerios of any founder who paid money for the game to see a unique (and probably BETTER) version of their Founders mech available. It'll happen eventually, but I would bet on them being a ways off.

So, if I am correct (big if, admittedly) it will be taken from the ranks of:

-Spider
-Raven
-Trebuchet
-JagerMech
-Stalker

Last one was an Assault, so I would bet against another right away. Also we have 2 Assault Heroes, and 2 Medium, already, while we only have 1 each of the Light and Heavy class. So I would lean toward one of those. Since we just got the first "Champion", and it was a Heavy, that MIGHT tip things in favor of a light.

So to me the question is Raven or Spider? The Death's Knell and YLW have shown that people won't just buy ANY Hero, so one would have to make a VERY enticing Spider mod to get people to bite, I think. But an ECM Hero will get the P2W crowd frothing, so any Hero Raven will likely be without ECM (or without Missile Hardpoints to pair with it, which I think would be acceptable)

You'll be disappointed. The Orion is next month.

Fang and Flame were released together, so I lumped 'em together. (Plus who in their right mind paid for Fang? DRG-1C was as good or better in every way. At least Flame allows one to build a (mostly) proper Grand Dragon, since for whatever reason PGI feels we neither need nor want that Dragon Variant)

In a way they already did that for me.

Founders Mechs aren't a special configuration like a Hero Mech (understandable I suppose with all the early P2W complaining early in Beta). The biggest gripe I have is...Why does a Hero Mech get 30% CBill Boost but my Founder's Mechs only get 25%? I would have thought Hero Mechs would have been 25% too.

So basically, the Founder's Mech get 5% less Cbill earn then a Hero, and no unique configuration. Kind of a bummer. The real crap in the icing will be if Hero mechs can chage camo color and Founder's Mechs won't.

Still hoping for a Spider with 2 energy mounts in each arm and a head mounted missile hard point. I have no real reason for wanting it in the head beyond just being able to say I shoot missile out of my head. OH, an make it able to load up 16 Jump Jets. I want to be able to jump from one cap point to the next!!!
