[Trondheim Live Daily Report]

5/24: ‘Borg lance dies ‘’honorably” after fighting off roughly 30 Ghost Bear mechs. Reports state ‘Borg mechs ran through enemy positions, placing bets on how many mechs they could get to follow them. 1 Clan mech confirmed destroyed when ‘Borg unit suicides into a moonshine supply silo-turned-bomb. Unconfirmed comm chatter prior to explosion of “AINT NO PARTY LIKE A HOOCH PART-BZZZT-” “This is why we can’t have nice things!”

5/25: Ghost Bears reportedly close in on Skjaldborg positions. Broadband chatter replies “Hey, where’d the militia go? Ah she’s bringing the 'meat' anyways. Like a good wench.”

5/25: Skjaldborg military forces wiped off the face of Trondheim in epic last stand. Skjaldborg Garrison Commander Flessar goes on a ‘roll' in a wide-broadcast to the Bears.

“Okay you fish lovin’, mead-stealin', alien wench-of-b****es! First, you take our mead; then you take our city; then you take our wenches; and then you BLOW UP our moonshine still! Only WE were supposed to do that!-”

“Uh....Fless.....we DID do that.”

“Shhhhhh, they don’t know that”

“MURDER BAAAAAAAALL!!!!”
"Last one standing wins!”
“See ya space cowboy!”
”DFA! DFA! DFA!”

“Oh f*** it, LEERROOOOYYYYY----*Kzzzzt*”

Remains of downed mechs completely destroyed. No survivors. Last known comm chatter was “Ha-ha! The fun has been doubled!”

5/26: Ghost Bears force militia units to retreat out of the mountains north of the infamous 'Lava Web', retreating across the western plains towards the west coast of the Eastern Continent.

5/27: Skjaldborg Command formally recognizes fallen at Trondheim. Memorial dubbed “Silo Number 3” names the full Company of fallen Mechwarriors. “Their memory will forever be golden.” Main militia forces smashed by pursuing Ghost Bears, few units flee the battlefield as those who cannot escape are killed to the last man.

5/28: Ghost Bear forces mop up operations on planet pursuing isolated units. Ghost Bear transmissions reportedly filled with bagpipe music.

No, we don't know that, but she's also likely not an elemental considering she's in charge.

The bloodname Kabrinski is exclusive to Ghost Bear elementals, and the daily report from the 9th of May described her as a "monster of a woman".

...Or as they said in Deuce Bigalow: "That's a huge b1tc#!"

A successful elemental could work their way up to command, the same as a mechwarrior or pilot.

EDIT: Just found that, as of May 3050, the Ghost Bears' 2nd in command is an elemental for sure. SaKhan Theresa DelVillar has a bloodname specific to elementals. The Invading Clans sourcebook also makes it clear that a "point" of 5 elementals under DelVillar's command could easily trash a 25-ton Commando.

So, not only do the infantry do well in this clan, the female infantry aren't at any disadvantage.

Another edit: OK, the reporter and I are reading different sources. I've got that DelVillar is SaKhan until she falls in battle, 24 June.

That settles it: This Kabrinski woman may be quite mad, but she isn't a pirate after all. Pirates would "confiscate" the alcohol, not dump it.
This "Clan Ghost Bear" must be stopped!

5/31: Resistance reports Ghost Bear Mechwarrior arrested outside of brothel, shouts heard about viking women and ‘best ride of my life’.

Due to increasing crackdowns on resistance movements and broadcasts, Trondheim Live, Daily Report and her editors, authors, and technicians have been forced to evacuate Trondheim, for fear of persecution and death. This will be the last live report from the surface of Trondheim until such time as we can return to our home planet. Until then, TL,DR will continue to provide coverage when and where able, should we survive to tell you the tales.

A final, pre-recorded broadcast is scheduled for tomorrow, though due to crackdowns it may take longer before the signal can be safely transmitted. God speed, Trondheim. God speed, Rasalhague. May Odin's beard shine as an example of all that is Viking and Manly to us all!
