What do you think about an option to let a mechwarrior buy a variant only without weapons, reactor and etc.?
If a player has tons of weapons and etc. just let him buy the chasis only without the other stuff.

This is not a new idea, but they won't do it because there should always be some lame c-bill money sink.
However, it should be strongly considered for Hero Mechs... considering the vast loads of junk that is added to them that "add value" but is generally trash.
