I didn't see the "press release" on the forum yet, there's some comments by Russ on there.
Maybe somebody should make a proper thread that compiles the information on the controller so people can find it easily, opinion threads abound, without people seeing all the info.

Russ Bullock, President of Piranha Games said, "It is my pleasure to work with Razer in designing an exclusive MechWarrior Online gaming peripheral. MechWarrior Online is a title that fans have been waiting a long time for, and allowing them the best peripheral options from the highest quality partners like Razer is something we're excited to offer. Fans of MechWarrior know how important precision controls are for their Mechs and we think this is going to be a great option for them."

Information has been in a few threads... do like that the link shows a good color shot of the rear of the controller...

And from this, think it answers questions about wether the unit can be seperated or not... it doesn't look like it to me from that rear pic... looks like one solid piece of hardware... 2 USB inputs possibly at the base of the Keypad??

I looks a little cumbersome as far as desk space is concerned, not that I'll be able to afford it any way
