as an American it may seem strange but its nice to see this stability in a crazy world!

You can buy the senile hereditary privileged old bat if you really like her that much pal ??!?!?...................
You can have here cheap but trust me bro ........ it costs a big states deficit to keep a mother lovin royal
family ........ personally i'd swap her for decent sized mountain range ........ something thats good for
boarding in winter and downhill mountain biking in summer ....... open to offers???

I'm just watching the coverage of the concert in her honor. There's an estimate that more then a half a million people stood in front of the palace to watch. People camped for 2 or 3 days to get good spots. Including a father and daughter that flew from Ontario, Canada.

Whaaaaat you talking about ......... crazy colonial ............ what you describe sounds like the average superbowl to me :D

Did Erratic Cheese just say Hereditary rule is unconstitutional? Is he stupid? The constiution only matters in the USA... (Disclaimer: I live in the USA, but that was a stupid comment)

We all know those people were just there hoping that the Queen would make an announcement about MWO :P . In all seriousness though, sixty years is impressive.

"as an American it may seem strange but its nice to see this stability in a crazy world!"

The queen causes instability in the world.

"Congratulation to the Queen and all you in Great Britain, and Commonwealths"

Commonwealth is a misnomer. Most of the Commonwealth lives on less than a dollar a day.

"I agree, she has been a steady prescence for 60 years and a public figure even longer."

In contrast, AIDS has only been in the mainstream public spotlight since the 1980s.

"Beacause repeatedly voting in leaders that we know are rampantly corrupt liars is such a positive sign in our favour."
Yes, but even Britain's democratically elected Prime Minister, and his wife, are both royalty (literally the kids of kings etc), which the mainstream media repeatedly ignores.

"like I said; A little respect where its due"

It's not due. That's the point.

"it costs a big states deficit to keep a mother lovin royal family"

And its worse than that. All money is debt (at best, every cent out of debt you are, puts somebody less fortunate 1 cent into debt; ie money is violence) precisely because of the economic policies of these Kings, going right through to the bank wars of the 1800s to King Henry back in the days of tally-stick money-keeping. The UK's current debt is a hilarious 900 billion, and is perpetually increasing. It's actually one of the weakest countries, financially, in Europe, but a kind of pathological, near-psychotic faith in the economy keeps the bubble growing, and this irrational faith is largely sustained by the Queen (her traders, her banking assets) being headquartered here.

"Did Erratic Cheese just say Hereditary rule is unconstitutional? Is he stupid? The constiution only matters in the USA... (Disclaimer: I live in the USA, but that was a stupid comment) "

Hereditary rule is unethical and unconstitutional. Most countries have a constitution. Including the UK; the UK constitution has been evolving since 1707. Since the 1920s the Queen (or her family) has essentially been reverse engineering certain laws to prevent her from being decapitated. That's why we call the UK a "constitutional monarchy", which of course is a white lie.

Bro i pray for your future descendants that your being uber ironic ?!?!?!?
Please don't tell me your on of those colonial Royals lovers ....... cause seriously
most of the UK couldn't give a toss about the Queens Jubilee.
They would swap that sh*t for a half decent manager for the England football squad so fast
it would cause a vacuum "bamf!!"

I think part of the problem is a lot of people are confused by the words "Respect and Fear" and "Naive and Innocence" , some think these are the same , so those wanting to be respected will take fear instead, then in the end they will never know what it is to be respected, fearing to be naive they give up their innocence , now neither getting respect and remaining naive , and no longer innocent .

I would much rather be disrespected and Naive .

So Finn, clearly an innocent tip-o-the hat to the queen was a cleavor disguise for an open invitation for people to vent their frustrations. You should be a therapist. This group seems to have reached several people.
