anyone played mechwarrior 4 mercenaries online at mektek servers(mekmatch)

anyone knows where they moved??

Mektek took the Activision route and moved to Heavy Gear.

yes but their servers?they said they will move the mekmatch servers to another host

No.
They've asked if someone would step up and host them.
My guess is none took the torch - so they're gone for good. All you can do now is having games via IP + you don't have an "official" board to share those IP's anymore.

we still play mw4 vengence. I haven't found a working set of files yet to get mercs working.. tbh I prefer mw4 to this online version. at least you could see what was going on (I have good gear, not the issue)

Read that MW4 was supposed to go to another group but Microsoft said no more support for free play because of money issues. Guess they have to try and get all they can from Used Sales.

Which MW4 had the MW2: Mercenaries missions? Please say it is not the one with the flying Mechs.

I have Mercs patched to 3.1.30 (last to patches beyond that were beta). I also have the HDR patch for it. I'll throw it up on my skydrive for ya.

Damn, my mw4:Mercs disks give me errors and never re-downloaded the mektek version after my old PC died.

Nope - unzip the entire directory from the 3 parts, fire up the game. No client required. What exactly didn't work?
