Removal Of Smoke Option.....

I don't see this as unreasonable as their is an option to remove shadows. Also know nothing about programing and how difficult that would be. Just know I seem to be a better player when their is a higher FPS at my disposal.

I know that the 330 is way underpowered. But prior to the April 2nd patch I could run all day on 25fps. Just seems like an easy way to make the game more stable for lower end rigs. Thus easily getting more people playing. Thus more money. While we are at it, make all the buildings giant blocks with no detail.

It's way, way, way underpowered in these days. Going by passmark it's barely 400 marks. My built-in Intel 4000 yields almost 500. But I am actually using a GTX 660, which is around 4000, and cannot complain. For MWO I suggest something like GTX 650 at least.

Turning it down will probably fix your problems.

Sadly I'm running a 260, but on medium settings with max view distance, it's fine. I will say MW:O scales better than some Crytek 3 games.

If the particle slider isn't impacting the smoke effects, I recommend you post a bug report. Because that would be a really silly (but likely) bug.

My 550ti does fine. 30 frames while recording - 50 not. Object detail and textures very high, everything else low. Not optimal, but definitely playable.
The 660 would be sweet!

I respect your wish for better support for lower end hardware, but I do not think this is the solution.

I see no reason why the dev team should put their limited time and resources into this. If your system can't handle the game, get a better system.

Its a matter of where do they make the most money. I can continue to spend money on this game or I and everyone that drops to 4 FPS can buy a new computer. The viciousness of f2p.

FPS hit or no, there should be no way to turn off trees, buildings, smoke, fog, etc. As it gives an advantage to the person who does so.
I want my eye-candy, and I don't want to suffer for that choice when facing a player who opted for less eye candy and thus better visibility.
They just need to better implement such things for lower end PC's, really, but at the same time at some point they need to set down an absolute bottom end and stop trying to support anything lower than that.

I remember hearing from someone, where his friend has a computer that, without doing so on purpose (was the video driver IIRC), none of the buildings were showing up on his screen, was only able to see the mechs. This also didn't really give him an advantage since... well, couldnt see the buildings that would of been in the way of his shots.

Smoke is a tactical factor. If I blow up the light infront of tha Jäger he will have to move to reaquire me because he can`t see through the smoke.
Its bad enough that people are intentionally setting their GFX to "low" do they have clearer shots on forest at long range (no trees).
Lower quality smoke, for all I care sprites instead of volumetric like in CS? sure, why not, worked in the past just fine.
