There's been a few matches where I would unload over 50 points of damage directly into a light mech's assend, only to find out that it only yellowed their armor a little bit.
Kinda frustrating...but luckily it doesn't happen all the time (for me, anyway).

For example 3 of us dropped together in a game and after it was already won we joked around a little and I fired 4 large pulse into the cockpit of Curccu.
Usually that should take him out

Hit damage failure has been around for quite a while it seems in this game. For as long as I've been testing it, there has been periodic shots/missiles/lasers that have failed to do the intended damage. This -seems- most common when a volley of multiple weapons that are the same type are used ie. 4xERPPC or 6xSRM6. When fired en-masse some (or all on occasion) of the shots within the volley fail to register.
As yet, I have not been able to determine an exact trigger for the error myself. If you have a browse through historic posts you will see this has cropped up in almost every patch.
I haven't recorded the occurence (mainly due to the game not allowing capture for some reason at the early stages and now cause I really can't be arsed shouting about this bug over and over again) but if you can spot an occurence in a live match and record it, I'm sure it will add significant weight to our posts regarding it.

This isn't the first time I've had something like this happen, but one of the best examples to date. On the flip side, anyone every get shot thru cover by ballistics??

All Gauss shots in the video did hit and caused glow damage effect on the mech, but only 3 of them did any damage. Checked this frame by frame.
