[Bruce Adders]

I've been a Capellan die-hard for years, but these days I'm much more interested in the Magistracy of Canopus. Freedom, liberty for all, and hedonistic entertainment. So, developers, if you want to add more factions, try the larger periphery realms.

Yeah, bcs this is the true character of Mechwarrior - Pilot/Mech vs Pilot/Mech and not Electronics vs Electronics!

Well, we ally with them and Taurians and make many aircraft, battlearmors and some mechs from it (most of them remain with our friends, though).

I'm still keen on the Magistracy. Obviously the best, most beautiful and most fun realm. A bit behind on some technology, but zeal for the honour of the Magestrix and the liberty and hedonism of the realm can counter for all.

I would love the older ragtag feel of the Periphery states and would take it over the hi tech sleek stuff any day of the week. While my favorite Periphery state(the Hanseatic League) will likely never make it to MWO having some Periphery State vs Periphery State warfare would be an awesome way to bring in low tech stuff for us purists who do nt want the new stuff. We fight each other while the hi tech states duke it out with each other leaving us alone. I would jump in with the Marian Hedgmony or Circanus Federation.

It is edifying that others exist who prefer the Magistracy. If only I could change my faction icon now...

The Capellan Confederation is a reasonable backup - kind of opposite politically re: freedoms etc. But it's smaller, relies on elite mechwarriors rather than numbers... Winning or losing I often come top of the team in my souped-up Jenner-F, so could get into the Death Commandos or Red Lancers I'm sure.

Just would prefer the Canopian Fusiliers
