We won the game. It devolved down to another huncher and I fighting with only our head lasers at one point.
WTB melee, at least we could have kicked each other.

A quick match means it's quite often well balanced in terms of rating, means many with the same rating are playing.
A long match means all bets are off, you can get a mix of everything from top players to completely new players.
And when it takes a really long time, you're matched with me :-D

Between 4pm and 11pm EST is where the good times live.
Off topic a bit, I really don't know how anyone can legitimately get 1000+ points in under an hour without being ridiculously lucky. The last few games before I gave up last night I saw some players jump fast. Like a 4+ 200+ point games in a row (guessing based on posted score divided by 5). The matchmaker crapshoot must really love some players, provided it's all legit. Well that's my rant...
