From reading this:
  • Exclusive custom "Founder's BattleMech." This 'Mech includes a lifetime, per-match C-Bill booster.
  • $80 value of in-game currency* for in-game item purchases.
  • Two-month premium account to MechWarrior Online at launch: Earn XP & C-Bills faster.

I wonder if the founder mech will have a double c-bills boost the first 2 months........dev?

The founder mech has a lifetime c-bills booster. Which is doubled as long as you have a premium account.

We dont really know yet but maybe the info we get during the E3 event will answer this.
I can only say that in WOT having a premium tank means bonus to credits gain and lower repair cost. Having a Premium account in WOT means a 50% bonus to both Exp and Credit gain.

No evidence has been shown about how large the 30/60 day XP/C-bill boost is, or how large the lifetime XP boost is.

From the announcement thread:

CLARIFICATION: From the concept art in another thread, it appears there are 4 Operation Inception mechs. Do we get to choose one of these 4 for the $60 Elite Package?

Is it randomly assigned, like a lottery? Or is there simply one mech, no choice? I'm rather interested to see what's what here.

You choose one

Going by this, it seems that if you do a poor job picking your founders mech, you essentially waste your c-bill boost. Not to mention that you may have to dump it a few months in after they start releasing more powerful base mechs (hypothetical) in the future. It's almost like they want you to throw away the founders mech as soon as possible.

I would much rather have an item that I tack onto my mech to get the c-bill boost per match. At least that way I simply sacrifice something to have it but it becomes portable. Meh... :D

With the level of customization that appears available, the actual chassis you use doesn't matter that much. While some chassis may be more versatile due to hardpoint layout, you're unlikely to be able to say that any given chassis of a certain weight is significantly "better" than any other one of the same or similar weight.

I have to agree. I don't think mechs will get significantly better as a base standpoint. Other chassis may be more to your personal liking due to hardpoint layout. But with Armor and Engine customization hardpoints are all that will separate one mech from another at the same tonnage. Its more a choose wisely which role and weight fits that role for you personally. You want to be a scout, I wouldn't pick an Atlas as your founders mech.

Lots of things separate mechs at any given tonnage from each other, besides hard points.

Torso twist, geometry, agility, etc.
