Catapult Cockpits Again

Sure for awhile its okay but after playing for awhile its seems that hit box might be a little TOO big.
Where can I can face? Not forwards that's a death sentence...
Not sideways either, since some how acs still hit the head
and not backwards cuz ...well yeah
Torso twist nub! I DO! DOESN'T HELP! Ur just a noob then! No its just a little hard if you can't face your enemy.
Now why the big hit box? something to about the cockpit being the furthest from the torso rotational axis. The devs added it for game balance, to make it fair which is bull since the catapult is just a big torso. Meaning everything is hitting ct so there isn't really any reason to make it such BIG hit box any way.
So how about give the cockpit more armour? Or just make slightly smaller so things can't hit it side on. Or if you really must insist on the hit box, give the catapult more ct armour(strip it from the legs/arms where ever) Or only make changes on some the variants although i don't think that will happen
Or something idk
plz no rude replies/insults and such this is after all a suggestion

Just saying because the ct is already huge and can't take that many hits even with lots of armour
Just suggesting to make it slightly smaller, its almost good right now just a little bit too big

My A1 died from cockpit hit a total of 3 times, out of 150 games. Mostly when I was trying to take a peek slowly.
Jumpjets help tons. Use them well.
K2 is a different beast though.

A fact ignored when inconvenient by the crowd whose constant drone of complaints has resulted in successive nerfs to the mech. Since those nerfs have gone through, it's time this weakness was removed as well, as the strengths it was meant to counterballance (torso twist range, large indirect fire capability, ect) have been removed.

You sir must be very good then =)
Been shot in the head many many times, some from weird shots like a 300m ac 20 side on shot, front on (derp) and shots that hit my legs but register as a head shot o.0 Most of the time its ballistic weapons that hit funny.
Otherwise everything hits centre which goes down really quickly

Speaking of big... why are CPLTs so huge? for example- STK at 85 vs CPLT at 65 they are far too close to the same size... its almost like the CPLT is the size of what a 75T mech should be (add arms & shoulder boxes = ??? mech)
Compare 2 other mechs with a 20 ton difference: The HGN (90) vs the CTF (70), the CTF (70) vs HBK/TBT/CN9 (50), The DRG (60) vs the CDA (40), or the CN9 (50) vs the SDR (30).. even the AS7 (100) vs the AWS (80) has enough size difference for those 20 tons.
The entire mech needs to be about 5% smaller- that would help with head hitbox issues too... stand a STK next to a CPLT and check out the cockpit window size differences- is the CPLT pilot a giant?

although the STK has a very small torso twist so i guess that's way the head is so small
i won't lie i don't really don't know too much about MW lore but i always thought cats had a small horizontal line type cockpit like the jagermech
I did say i do torso twist doesn't really help

The sad fact is that LRMs (probably even now) are still effective at "headshotting" a Catapult..
BTW, Streakcats are showing up more in the current meta... with a small spatter of Splatcats.

Apparently PGI is lazy enough not to increase Stalker size by 10%--which takes a short time minutes to do it.

You must not have piloted Catapults much. I can't count the number of times I've been randomly headshotted in one, even when jumping in the air at 86 km/h while frantically torso twisting.
I'm guessing here so I may be wildly off, but I think about one every ten of my deaths in a Catapult has been by headshot, which is a far higher number than in any other Mech I've piloted.
