With the windows 8 RELEASE Preview out and it coming out in october.
Do you think that since i run win 8 it may have affected my beta app?
I am thinking highly possible. But lol i love win 8 and only have issues with older games. modern games work awesome and its twice as fast.

I would assume that they are testing on XP, Vista, 7, and 8.
A lot of people still have older computers that run XP and can still handle relatively high end games. This is in part because Vista was so terrible, so people who were buying computers in 2007/2008 were still installing XP.
The simple answer is that everything about your computer specs probably does affect your app, if you assume that they are actively trying to include a wide variety of system types, software types, and hardware setups.
