I'm putting this here instead of fan fiction because I kind of want to open up to the community here and see if anyone wants to create a look for some of these mechs. Well on to the main attraction.

Last night I was messing around in solaris skunk werks trying to make a variant of the K2 I would gladly call my own, Eventually I decided to go to an XL engine and up the speed to 5/8, Thats when it hit me. The page i had open in the background was the Bushwacker, so why not make a 10 ton heavier mech that could move 5/8/5? This is that mech. I guess in thinking of look, I would like it to evoke similarities to both the MWO Catapult and the Bushwacker since they both were partly responsible for the creation of this mech.

Also I guess as a note I haven't uploaded this to solaris7.com so I guess a "prize" of sorts would be the artist design I like most will be added to the mech when I upload it there (only way I know how to right now will be to link to your exact post). Also I guess if this does well I will bring out a few more of my designs that have yet to be solaris7ed for you guys to take a crack at.

OK, bear with me, this is about a 2-25 minute "kitbash" concept sketch, not meant to win any awards, just convey the feel. Figure get your insight and input on where you would take it from here, if it even works at all.

Tried to combine Bushwacker, Catapult and a few Cauldron-Born elements into it. Like the Bushwacker, the chassis itself is angled and narrow from the front, but long, and also like the Bushwacker (and MWO Centurion) the shoulder actuators make it wide, but not particularly thick, so it has that draped, "scarecrow" feel like a Bushwacker or Vulcan on it's side torsos and shoulders, leaving large gaps in between the torso and the arm for enemy fire to go through.

I see nothing wrong with it Bishop. That is an amazing job!

Edit: Actually wanted to say you did even better than what I had in mind. This mech eventually gets turned into an omnimech and the box mounted torso lasers work better than the in-torso mounted versions in my head. You can just detach the box and add the new pod instead of opening up the torso to swap. fun facts lol.

One thing I despise about later TROs (post 3050) is the Omni-Mechs are in no way remotely modular. Odd curves, bulbous bodies all speak against the uniform, linear needs for Omni Pods and modularity. The 3058 IS Omnis were a decent start, and the MW4 Vengeance Chimera and Argus had some potential for that kind of design. Thus I based the design off an Upscaled Awesome, but with the torsos and arms modular.

Mind you, the IS was incapable of Omnis in 3053, but the DCMS was introducing them by 3058. Thus, I would consider this a Non-Omni Prototype Yaska, which would later have the assembly lines converted to modular capacity?

I forgot actual timeline for omnis but I haven't really posted the lore behind stuff basically short version. Ordo industries is attacked by the clans and through sheer dumb luck and some crafty piloting they acquire enough clan tech to reverse engineer omnimech tech a little earlier, but the cost is a clan warship in orbit preventing the designs to spread outward so the Ordo industries omnimechs aren't seen until later years. Love your take on it Bishop, only thing I can see is that the left arm is missing its hand actuator but SSW's format makes that hard to see. But thats only a minor issue so no big deal there.

OK, so Kinda took elements of the Cataphract, Chimera and Uziel, and then downsized em.
