100 Meter 360 Degree Radar

I want to make this suggestion to PGI a short range 360 degree radar lets say 100 meters I cant tell you how sick im becoming of being shot point blank in the back. I play FPS games all the time so im experienced and aware or my surroundings but no matter how aware I am in this game it always ends up 70% of my deaths are because mechs are behind me and I cant react fast enough before im dead. The mechs also are so slow at turning around of moving that I cant turn and hit mechs fast enough to stay alive in a close range situation. So I would suggest this radar 360 short range and make the mechs more maneuverable. Also I think a 360 degree radar is Cannon? This capability is apparently coming this month with a new module: seismic sensor. 200m range.

I'd like to see that as well, maybe a proximity alarm if they get within a certain range behind you.

Now im sorry but a module only a few can get is just not right the radar should be standard on all mechs for free not some grind till im sick of the game to get it or a Pay2 play item. ^_^ :D

Would you like a rear-mounted auto turret as well? That way you definitely won't die to the guy that outmaneuvered you. Seriously. If someone gets behind you and kills you through your weak armour, you were outmaneuvered. He won. You lost. Deal with it.

Isn't there also a module that helps with this very problem? 360 degree target lock? Retains lock even if the target moves around to your side or behind you.

Sure why not you would think by 3050 if mechs were real they would have like 4-6 rotary auto cannons pointing out the back as a defensive measure or some type of rear deflector plate. With that said I out maneuver others as well but that does not solve the problem of weak back armor huge REAR HITBOXES OR THE FACT YOU CANNONT RE OUT MANUVER YOUR ENEMYS FAST ENOUGH. So I think my suggestion of a free short range 360 degree radar is valid also faster mech movement might spice up the game and make it a bit more tactical and skillful and FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Yes but it takes forever to get one and it only works if you already have that one enemy targeted what about when your fighting more than one mech it is useless.

Join the elite master race and get the seismic sensor module when it comes out.

a: By 3050 if mechs were real they'd be the size of a housefly deploying biological, chemical or nanite-based WMDs. They'd also have lasers that shoot further than 60m. Your realism argument is invalid.

b: You can increase your rear armour in the mechlab.

c: In a case of two opposing parties, only one can outmanouver the other. This one is the victor.

d: Buy a faster mech? I pilot one, they're rather fun.

Right grind for 6-8 weeks per mech to get one no thanks or a even worse idea a PAY2WIN seismic for that elite moment? The whole concept of grind or PAY2WIn modules ifs just another bad idea in PGI'S long list of bad ideas for this game already.

lol per mech?

I own all the modules besides the sucky ones ( advanced zoom and the arty/air strikes) I never had to grind.
