What kind of mech would this work in? I got it to stick in my Jagger so I could have a 4XAC5 build with decent armour and ammo, but I then had to add an extra 4 heat sinks meaning my ammo is still low and im incredibly slow. Im thinking of selling it, but it may come in handy later. Are there any benifits to keeping it? What Mechs will it fit in comfortably?

This works in...

• Any high power ballistic build for the Spider 5K. Is required to make the Gauss Rifle Spider.
  
• Ideal for the Raven 4X AC/20 build (Allows almost full armor and 5 tons of ammo). Still goes faster than vanilla 4x Raven.
  
• Works well with a twin PPC 2X, though better versions have been recommended to me.
  
• Makes the Cataphract 4X quite formidable with enough ammo to spam bullets from afar all day long with twin UAC/5, ac/2, medium laser, tag, and SRM-4. Allows for virtually any 4X build to be possible.
  
• Was in the first Spider to ever kill a Raven 3-L on a video on youtube.
  
• My Commando 2-D uses this rather luxuriously to hold nearly max armor and SRM-4s.

General tip is never to sell anything that you strip off mechs you experiment with, in particular I have one XL 280 that I got from a Cataphract which now powers my Jenners all the time. This was unexpected, but nice.

So, to make my meaning absolutely clear
You should hold on to your gear.

I tend to sell stuff for the quick cash, but I almost always end up regretting it later.

Even when I think I've looked into every use I could have for something, and decided that none of them are something I care about, the game just changes in a way that makes me care. The upcoming changes to the beagle active probe made me regret selling my Jenner 7-D and Dragon 1N, and made me more interested in Cicada's, but I had already sold the XL 340 engine that I would use with them.
