A stock only match system would be an interesting alternative to the current mode.

Allowing players to use only the stock builds of the 'mechs in their hanger. Modules would still be accessible (although I'd prefer they weren't)

This would allow new players a more lenient place to learn and earn C-bills whereas allowing the more seasoned players a place to go to get away from the current style of gameplay (myself included)

I would however suggest that once the "recruit bonus" wears off that these matches earn less C-bills than the current style matches. This will hopefully help ensure that senior players don't choose this mode for easy targets.
